Advani calls Dang, says sorry

Leader of Opposition L K Advani on Saturday called veteran Communist leader Satya Pal Dang over telephone in Amritsar and expressed regret for a reference to him as 8220;late8221; in his just-published autobiography.

Sources close to Advani said Dang was 8220;generous and gracious and understood that such things do happen8221;.

They said the 88-year Communist leader appreciated Advani8217;s gesture in calling him. The sources said all references to Dang in the book were positive especially his role in the fight against terrorist during eighties.
