The Kerala High Court on Monday once agains expressed its displeasure over the CBI probe into the murder of Sister Abhaya, a Catholic nun in a convent in Kottayam in 1992.Judge V Ramkumar, who examined the CD of the narco-analysis tests conducted on two priests and a nun, observed that the result of the tests appeared tampered as there were many discrepancies and missing links in it. The test results did not throw up any conclusive evidence, he added.The judge observed that the nun, who was subjected to tests, was asked questions by a person who was not familiar with Malayalam language.The case was posted for Tuesday for further proceedings. CBI had produced the CD of the tests in keeping with High Court direction. Narco-analysis tests were conducted on Fr Jose Prithrkkayil, Fr Thomas Kottoor and Sister Stefy. Sister Abhaya, 21, was found dead in the well of Pius X Convent on March 27, 1992. The Kerala Police had then dismissed the case as suicide. Later, CBI took up the investigation. Thrice, the agency had tried to wind up the case.
