A scooter for the Divine Charioteer

GURUVAYUR, FEB 17: Lord Krishna, the Divine Charioteer, today received a down-to-earth gift at the famous Lord Guruvayurappan temple here8211;a four-stroke Spectra scooter of the TVS-Suzuki.

The offering was made to the Almighty by the company8217;s officials who handed over the key and other documents relating to the vehicle to the temple authorities, after subjecting the vehicle to traditional rituals.

The marketing of the vehicle is yet to be launched in Kerala. The company sources said the Spectra 150 cc four-stroke scooter would, perhaps, be the first of its kind in the world automobile market.

The price of the scooter would be around Rs 37,000, the sources added.
