VADODARA, MARCH 10: For a change this demolition has not adversely affected anyone but on the contrary it is to help the citizens. The VMC on Tuesday razed Jantar Mantar a structure at the traffic island near the VIP Road in Karelibaug leading towards the Harni Airport.
Deputy Municipal Commissioner Administration H S Patel told Express Newsline that the structure was demolished as it affected the vision.Also for the last two years, the Rashtriya Janata Party RJP councillors Ashwin Thakore and Harish Vaghela have been complaining that the place had become a den for anti-social elements, who drink liquor and play cards. Patel also said that the company was not maintaining the structure and the traffic island.
