The BCCI has its own little autocratic world, caring little for what the outsider has to say. Whether it be money matters, selection meetings, sponsors, player endorsements and even coaching philosophies, the board has a say in it all.

However, if Niranjan Shah, the BCCI secretary, is to be believed, the board is now planning to lay a Code of Conduct for its own officials.

When he was asked whether action would be taken against officials for unwanted comments for or against somebody or cricket in general, as had been the case with Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh, Shah said that 8220;the Code of Conduct would henceforth apply to the officials too.8221;
