In an incident reminiscent of the one that happened at a Delhi school recently, five students were expelled from an English-medium school in Kolkata for indulging in sexual activities inside the premises.

The authorities found that the students, four boys and a girl, were indulging in such activities over the past year. Those expelled were students of class X and XI and the girl was from class X.

School president Arunava Das said: 8216;8216;We were forced to expel the students for indulging in gross misconduct inside the school.8217;8217; A member of the school governing body said: 8216;8216;They had been carrying on for quite some time. But the matter came to light about 15-16 days ago when they were caught by a teacher.8217;8217;
