2 more held in Satara murder

SATARA, SEPT 26: Two persons were arrested here on Sunday by the CID in connection with the murder of NCP councillor Sharad Lehve, taking the number of persons arrested so far to 15.

Chandrakant Raut 25 and Raju Ramdas Nalvade 27 were produced before the District Chief Magistrate, Kamal Vadgaonkar, who remanded them to police custody till September 29.

On Saturday, CID sleuths had arrested Vijay Dilip Shelke who was produced in a local court along with another accused Santosh Kamble held on September 24. The duo was remanded to police custody till Monday. Meanwhile, main accused and BJP nominee for Satara Assembly seat Udayanraje Bhosale was granted magisterial custody till October 7.
