PUNE, Oct 13: Suryakant Golve and his wife Ratnamala, both residents of Bhigvan village, were injured when three unidentified robbers targeted their farmhouse in Golvewasti area on Monday.
The Golves were fast asleep when the men used a stick to open the inside bolt of the main door from a window left open. The robbers attacked the Golves with iron rods when the couple protested. Ratnamala has lodged a first information report at the Walchandnagar police station saying that her ornaments, estimated to be worth Rs 12,200 were stolen.
