MUMBAI, JAN 13: The Anti-Corruption Branch of the CBI arrested two persons at Sahar airport for alleged siphoning off bonded goods belonging to Air-India on Tuesday. The accused duo, Anant Mukund Sawant a preventive officer of Customs and one J H Patel, were remanded to police custody till January 18.

Sawant, posted at the cabin stores, allegedly helped Patel in the crime, sources said. A search of Patel’s premises yielded a huge stock of Air-India bonded items, meant for in-flight use.
