1 gets bail in Manjunath murder case

The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court today granted bail to Harish Misra, one of the eight accused in the Manjunath murder case.

The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court today granted bail to Harish Misra, one of the eight accused in the Manjunath murder case. The bail application was heard in the court of Justice K.S. Rakhra.

Government advocate Ashwani Kumar Singh confirmed that the bail has been granted.

Harish Misra was working as a labourer at Mittal automobiles in Gola Gokarn where IOC sales officer S. Manjunath was killed on November 19 last year. Monu Mittal, son of the erstwhile Mittal Automobiles petrol pump8217;s owner, is the prime accused in the case. Besides Monu and Harish, the other accused who are standing trial are Rakesh Kumar, Vivek Sharma, Lalla Giri, Rajesh Verma, Devesh and Sanjay.

Harish was charged with cleaning the blood stains from the spot.
