“Price tags, pedigrees, breeds—they’re just labels. At the end of the day, every dog — whether a Tibetan Mastiff or a street rescue — wants the same simple things: A warm patch of sunlight to nap in, hands that pet with love, a voice that speaks kindly and a heart that accepts them completely,” said Darshankaur Khalsa, Co-founder of Pets of Paradise. She encouraged people to adopt instead of buying dogs from breeders and sellers who mistreat pets in the name of running a profitable commercial business.
