The phenomenon of pillow face is a result of excessive or improperly placed dermal fillers said Dr Sonali Kohli, Consultant – Dermatology at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai, explaining that the main reason behind it is:

-Incorrect Placement: Fillers placed too superficially or in the wrong facial areas can migrate, causing unevenness and puffiness.

-Lack of Expertise: Inexperienced injectors may not have the skill to achieve natural-looking results, leading to overcorrection.
