Rajasthan’s Nandini Gupta on winning Miss India 2023: ‘I promise to…’

Nandini Gupta, a 19-year-old girl from Rajasthan, was recently crowned Miss India 2023 at the Grand Finale event held in Imphal, Manipur. After emerging victorious at the 59th edition of the beauty pageant, Nandini will now prepare to represent the country at the Miss World contest.

Expressing her happiness and gratitude over the win, she penned a heartfelt note on social media. “From Kota, a small town in India, to the world stage, I am overwhelmed and honoured to be crowned as Femina Miss India World 2023!” she wrote.

Nandini added that the feeling of achieving her dream is still sinking in. “This journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride, filled with hard work, determination, and unwavering support,” she added.

Showing gratitude to all those who supported her, the pageant winner added that as she steps into the role of Miss India World 2023, she is filled with immense pride and responsibility. “I am ready to represent the rich culture, diversity, and values of India globally. I promise to carry this title with grace, dignity, and humility,” she continued.

Addressing the country, Nandini added, “To my beloved India, I am committed to making you proud every single day. I am ready to take on this role with open arms and embrace the journey ahead with passion, determination, and a heart full of gratitude. This is just the beginning of a new chapter as I embark on this incredible journey as your Femila Miss India World 2023.”

She signed off with expressing gratitude to her parents and family. “This crown is a tribute to your unwavering belief in me.”

Miss India 2022 Sini Shetty also penned a farewell note as Nandini took over the crown from her. “Looking back, it’s been an incredible journey! My life has taken a complete 360-degree turn. It’s been nothing less than a dream come true, and I am filled with gratitude for every moment, every experience, and every person I’ve met along this path,” she wrote.

Shetty, who will be representing India at the Miss World contest next month, added, “As I prepare for the 71st Miss World, I am filled with a sense of purpose, pride, and patriotism. I am honoured to represent India, and I am committed to giving my best on the world stage.”
