A photograph of a smiling Prince Louis being pushed in a wheelbarrow has gone viral across social media ahead of his fifth birthday.
The prince, who turns five today, April 23, is seen wearing a blue woollen jumper and sitting on top of a pile of leaves as the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, pushes him.
The photograph is one of the two clicked by Millie Pilkington earlier this month.
The other is a close-up of the prince as his face is seen beaming.
Someone’s turning 5 tomorrow… 🎂 🥳
A very happy birthday to Prince Louis.

The latest royal photo set was a break from the tradition of Kate taking the portraits of her family that are released on special occasions. Kate is known to have a keen interest in photography and studied art history at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, where she first met William.
Kate was made patron of the Royal Photographic Society in 2019, a role that was passed on to her by Queen Elizabeth II.
Louis is likely to accompany his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in the procession from Westminster Abbey on the King’s Coronation on May 6, as per reports.
He was not at Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral in September since he was considered too young to attend the service with his parents.
Louis is fourth in line to the throne and was born on St George’s Day in 2018.
The prince was christened by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, at the Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, in front of friends and family.
The three siblings who live in Windsor’s Home Park’s Adelaide Cottage attend the Lambrook School near Ascot in Berkshire.
The siblings were spotted in a previously unseen photo of Queen Elizabeth II released on what would have been her 97th birthday. The late Queen was seen smiling with some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the picture that was taken by the Princess of Wales at Balmoral.
