Navratri 2023: Other than Sharada Navratri, the marquee nine-day festival observed annually in autumn, several parts of the country celebrate Chaitra Navratri in the lunar month of Chaitra, right after the spring harvest.

Chaitra Navratri, also known as Vasant Navratri, is celebrated across most parts of India, although its popularity is more in North India. This year, the nine-day-long festival will be celebrated from March 22 to March 30, according to Drik Panchang.

The festival is dedicated to worshipping the nine incarnations of the Hindu Goddess Shakti. Devotees observe fast and worship the deity. The rituals are in tandem with the ones followed during Sharada Navratri.
