Further, Cherry Sahni, Co-founder and Creative Head of Diamondtree elucidated that there are certain things to keep in mind when buying gold, such as:

Purity: Gold jewellery is typically alloyed with other metals for durability, so it’s important to check the purity of the gold before buying. Look for hallmarks or certifications that indicate the gold’s purity level, such as 24K (99.9 per cent pure), 22K (91.6 per cent pure), or 18K (75 per cent pure).

Pricing: Gold prices can fluctuate, so it’s crucial to stay informed about the current market rates before making a purchase. Compare prices from different jewellers and ensure that you are getting a fair price based on the prevailing market rates.

Authenticity: Be cautious of counterfeit gold jewellery, especially when buying from unknown sources. Always buy from reputable jewellers or certified sellers to ensure that you are getting genuine gold.
