Bhumi Pednekar is a big-time foodie. The Afwaah actor also believes that food is the way to her heart. As such, the 34-year-old opened up about her food preferences in a conversation recently while munching on some good food.

As a person who is a morning riser, Bhumi revealed that she is a “sunrise”, and a “coffee” person as she answered a few other questions in a rapid-fire from Curly Tales as part of their 59 Seconds Instagram show.

What is Bhumi‘s “go-to comfort meal”? “Dal, chawal, sukha (dry) aloo sabzi,” said Bhumi, who also said that when asked to choose between sweet and salt, she would prefer giving up on salt.

Never eat chocolate again or never eat cheese again? “Never eat chocolate again,” said Bhumi.

Calling herself “passionate”, Bhumi said that while it is difficult to choose between many holiday destinations, her favourite would be London. She also revealed that if she had to live in another country, it would be “anywhere in Europe”.

What’s the superpower she wishes she had? “I wish I could eat everything and be healthy,” said Bhumi.

Weirdest thing she has ever eaten? “So, when I ate non-vegetarian, I tried frog legs. Not recommended,” said Bhumi.

Not long ago, in a conversation with Curly Tales founder Kamiya Jani, Bhumi opened up about cooking. The actor shared that while she loves enjoying food, she can’t really cook. “I can’t cook at all. My sister, on the other hand, is a phenomenal cook. She cooks for love, and I think that is kind of reflected in her cooking as well. My mother is a phenomenal cook too, but she doesn’t like cooking. She cooks for love for us but if she had a choice, she would not want to cook. She hates it,” she revealed.

On turning vegetarian three and a half years ago due to a lot of climate-related and environment-related work, Bhumi said that it was something that was going to come “very naturally to me”. “I have seen such a big switch in my health and in my lifestyle choices. I love being vegetarian. My mother and I are vegetarians, and my sister still is a non-vegetarian. It’s a personal choice,” said Bhumi.
