These soon-to-be-dropped Shrek clogs, according to internet users, are the ugliest shoes ever.
Crocs and everyone’s favourite ogre, Shrek, are launching a new, swampy collaboration. In honour of the Dreamworks film franchise, which has a fifth sequel allegedly in the works, Crocs is launching the ogre-inspired variation of their Classic Clog in collaboration with Shrek.
The fuzzy brown heel straps of the Shrek clogs resemble the character’s iconic vest, and detachable accessories, known as Jibbitz, adorn the uppers of the Shrek clogs in the shapes of the character’s ears and nose. The Shrek logo is also emblazoned on the exterior and underfoot.
In a press announcement, Crocs jokingly described the shoes as “wonderfully hideous.” In the limited-edition Crocs, the standard clog is used as a “vehicle of self-expression, reimagining Shrek’s beloved irreverence.”
According to what a representative for the shoe company told The New York Post, “Crocs and Shrek are the ultimate swampy sole-mates from a land far, far away.”

Starting on September 13, the brand-new Shrek clogs will be sold at retailers. The Shrek clogs are available in a variety of adult, child, and toddler sizes for $59.99, $49.99, and $44.99.
On Twitter, people quickly expressed a variety of opinions in response to the news.
“These are the ugliest shoes I ever … *add to cart*,” one user said.
“Okay, these I can Stan for,” another wrote.

The launch of the new clog follows Crocs’ entry into the humorous-yet-high-fashion market with its collaboration with MSCHF to produce the viral Big Red Boot in yellow.
Modeling the ludicrous footwear was Paris Hilton, who released a video of herself struggling to remove the huge shoes from her feet and seeking help.
Shrek, on the other hand, is always in trend. In April, a fifth installment in the Shrek series was approved, and it will use the original voice actors.
After the debut of the first Shrek movie in 2001, the series went on to become a mainstay of pop culture and give rise to numerous memes and memorable scenes.
