India’s most flamboyant make-up artist Elton Fernandez – who has styled the likes of Aditi Rao Hydari, Parineeti Chopra and Athiya Shetty – swears by it.

The Maybelline New York’s official make-up artist in an Instagram post earlier this year shared how he really feels about the glitter trend taking over the world. He wrote, “Some looks are great, yet they don’t make it to the runway. Hard work and passion are hardly futile! Glitter love continues to takeover global fashion. Todays woman is fearless, bold, knows what she wants and how to Make It Happen. Shes empowered to celebrate her ever-evolving natural self and unafraid to dive into her imagination. Also, in a candid video with a leading fashion and entertainment website, he shared that Indian women should embrace this trend and use it on their eyelids to add some oomph to their look. It’s simple and easy and pairing it up with vivid lips in bright shades of pink, red and orange can take it to the next level. Don’t doubt it, when experts root for it.
