UPTET 2019 Notification, Application Form Online: The application process for the Uttar Pradesh Teachers’ Eligibility Test (UPTET) has started from today. The candidates can visit the official website – updeled.gov.in or upbasiceduboard.gov.in to apply online. The last date to register is November 20 while the last date to submit application fees November 21.

The examination regulatory authority of Uttar Pradesh will conduct the exam in Hindi, English, Sanskrit and Urdu. UPTET exam will be held on December 22 and the admit cards for the state level teacher eligibility test will be available for download about 10 days prior to the exam.

UPTET application fees: This time, the exam authority has increased the application fee. The applicants from the general or OBC category need to pay Rs 600 for paper I and Rs 1200 for both papers. SC and ST candidates have to shell out Rs 400 for one, and Rs 800 for both papers. PH candidates need to pay Rs 100 or Rs 200 respectively. The payment should be made through credit card, debit card, net banking.

UPTET is held to determine the eligibility for teaching posts in government schools in the state from class 1 to class 8. The exam comprises two papers — Paper 1 will be attempted by those candidates who wish to teach from class 1 to class 5 and paper 2 is meant for those candidates who intend to teach from class 6 to class 8.
