SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2016: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is likely to declare the result of the Common Graduate Level Exam (CGLE) Tier 1 2016 soon. The result will be declared on the official website of the SSC, ssc.nic.in.

Earlier, there were reports that the SSC CGL Tier 1 2016 exam result is going to be declared on the official website of the SSC website on Friday, October 7, 2016 but the Commission has not released the result so far. The SSC had stated that the result will be result only after all the answer objections and challenges have been filed and worked through by the Commission. Since the last date of the objection filing is up, the result is expected to come out soon enough.
Steps to check the SSC CGL Tier 1 2016 exam result:
Log on to the official website, ssc.nic.in
Go to the “SSC CGL Tier I result 2016” link on the home page
You will be taken to a new page where you will have to enter your registration number or date of birth. You might have to enter other details as well.
Your admit card will be displayed when you click on “Submit”
The SSC CGL recruitment exam is held in two batches: Tier 1 and Tier 2. Only those candidates who pass the Tier 1 exam are allowed to sit for the Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 exam is scheduled to be held in the month of November-December this year. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of SSC regularly for timely updates on the exam.

It was for the first time that the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was made online. The Tier 1 exam, though remains a pen and paper (handwritten) exam. The number of questions were reduced this year for Tier 1 as well as more time was given since there was no previous track record of the online exam.
