SSC CGL 2024 Tier-1 Declared: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on December 5 announced the results of the SSC CGL 2024 Tier I examination. Candidates who appeared for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2024 Tier I can check their scores on the official SSC website — ssc.gov.in.
The SSC CGL tier 1 examination was conducted between September 6 to September 24 across the country. To access the individual response sheets from the ssc.gov.in website, the candidates will have to log in using their registration number and password
However, the final selection of the candidates is going to be according to the aggregate marks along with the preference given by them. So, for candidates, it is important to remember that the final allotment will be as per the merit cum mean preferences given by the shortlisted candidates.
Through this recruitment, drive, the Commission aims to fill 17,727 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ positions across various Ministries, Departments, and Organisations of the Government of India, as well as several Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals.
On the provisional answer key, the Commission wanted candidates to submit objections from October 3 to October 8. The minimum passing marks for the exam are 30 per cent for unreserved candidates, 25 percent for OBC and EWS candidates, and 20 percent for all other categories.
The Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) exam is a national-level competitive exam to recruit candidates for various Group B and Group C positions in government ministries, departments, and organisations.
The exam is conducted in four tiers, each testing different skills such as general knowledge, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language, and data interpretation. The SSC CGL tier 2 exams will be held on January 18, 19 and 20, 2025.
