Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, accompanied by his cabinet members, offered prayers at the Ram temple in Ayodhya and bowed before Lord Ram on Tuesday. The delegation, including Satpal Maharaj, Premchand Aggarwal, Subodh Uniyal, Dhan Singh Rawat, Rekha Arya, and Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, received a warm welcome on their arrival at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya. Dhami said the darshan of Ramlalla had filled his heart with devotion and joy. “After the darshan of Ramlalla, my heart is filled with devotion and joy. Ramlalla had to live in a tent for many years, and now seeing him in the grand temple, I am overwhelmed with emotions,” he said. Highlighting his government’s commitment to facilitate pilgrims, Dhami announced plans for a state guesthouse in Ayodhya. He said the facility would provide comfort and convenience to devotees from Uttarakhand visiting the sacred city to pay homage to Lord Ram. “Our government has sanctioned Rs 32 crore for the purchase of land to build this state guesthouse, which will be built on 4,700 square metres,” he added.
