The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to entertain a petition which sought disqualification of PM Narendra Modi from the Lok Sabha elections for allegedly flouting the Model Code of Conduct by invoking religion in his speech.
A bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Satish Chandra Sharma allowed the petitioner Fatima to withdraw the plea.
