Wildfire in PoK triggers land mine blasts along LoC in Poonch

A wildfire,which occurred in PoK,triggered explosions of seven landmines along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district after it spread to this side,Army said on Tuesday.

The blaze spread to this side of the LoC in the forward belt of Mendhar tehsil last night,they said.

The flames have been brought under control and there was no report of any injury or casualty,they said.
