Naxalites torch bus in Gadchiroli

A group of armed Naxalites on Monday set afire a state transport corporation bus plying between Malewada and Gadchiroli during the bandh called by them to protest the killing of Maoist leder Cherukuri Rajkumar alias Azad in Andhra Pradesh.

Police said Naxalites asked the bus passengers to get down and set ablaze the bus. Police parties were yet to reach the site,police said.
