Militant hideout busted,cache of ammunition seized

Security forces busted a militant hideout and seized a cache of ammunition dumped in a forest in Kupwara district of north Kashmir,police said today.

One Chinese grenade,ten AK-47 magazines,252 rounds of AK ammunition,19 Pika rounds and two radio set antennas were seized from the hideout in Dever area of Kupwara yesterday.

A Chinese grenade was also recovered from a stream in Kandhar village in Kupwara,which was later destroyed by the Bomb Disposal Squad,police said.
