Maoists blow up house,kidnap two in Jharkhand

Maoists,who killed a contractor on October 4 today blew up his vacant house in Bokaro district and kidnapped two employees of a construction firm in Garhwa district,police said.

The ultras set off explosives at the residence of contractor Pramod Singh in Tulgul village and left behind a poster alleging that he had been killed and his house blown up as he collected levy in their name,Superintendent of Police Saket Kumar Singh told reporters here.

Maoists also kidnapped Kamruddin and Bilal Ansari,employees of a road construction company and torched a machine belonging to the Prime Minister’s Gram Sadak Yozana at Chinia village in Garwah district,the officer-in-charge of Chinia police station H C Pal told newsmen here.
