When his attention was drawn to senior party leader Surajbhan Singh voicing concern over LJP going ahead with its alliance with RJD,Paswan said,”inner party democracy prevails in LJP and its activists are free to air their views on any issue.”

On lack of coordination between RJD and his party in the recently concluded general elections,he said it was due to the “inordinate delay” in fructifying the alliance.

“Due to the delay, activists of the two parties found it difficult to establish instant rapport with the masses. It is being viewed as the reason behind the bad performance of the alliance,” the LJP chief said.
