Kolkata train accident: Speeding train kills 5

Five persons,including two women,were today knocked down and killed by a train when they were crossing the tracks at Santragachi railway station in Howrah district,

The speeding Ranchi-Howrah Intercity Express knocked down the five people when they were crossing the tracks instead of using the overbridge at about 2:30 pm,South Eastern Railway sources said.

All the five died on the spot,they said.
