The cell which was inaugurated by Omar earlier this month has already received as many as 1,465 complaints till date.

“Of these about 400 complaints have been disposed off and the action taken conveyed to the concerned,while action taken on the rest of complaints is in various stages of progress,” an official of the cell said.

The cell is connected with 120 Community Information Centres in as many Rural Development blocks through which it is currently receiving complaints and also through a toll free number 18001807003 from 9.30 am to 5 pm on all working days.

Complaints received by the cell are being segregated,analysed and transferred to the departments concerned for reply/action within five days. The reminder for the pending complaints to the concerned is being communicated every Monday,the official said.
