Former MLC passes away

Bashir Ahmed,former legislator of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council,today passed away here following a brief illness.

Bashir (65) breathed his last in Government Medical College Hospital,where he was admitted since Saturday,officials said.

The former legislator,who belonged to National Conference,was a member of the Legislative Council from 1987 to 1992,they said.
