BJP to launch month-long awareness programme on corruption

The Jammu and Kashmir unit of BJP on Monday said it will launch a month-long mass awareness programme on the issues of corruption,black money and price rise in the state from July 25.

“July 25 to August 25 will be observed as a ‘Month of Mass Awareness’ and the party will organise district-level public meetings which will be addressed by BJP national leaders,” JK BJP chief Shamsher Singh Manhas after inaugurating the party’s district office at Nagbani area.

The party will aware people on the issues of corruption,black money and price rise,he said.

Expressing concern over the delay in setting up of the Central University in Jammu,Manhas said such an approach on the part of the state government indicates its discriminatory policy towards Jammu.
