PM Modi flags off 3 new trains from Rajasthan, including Vande Bharat Express – check routes

Narendra Modi in Rajasthan Today: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off three new trains from Rajasthan, including two Vande Bharat Express. These new train services will further strengthen rail connectivity in the state and give a boost to the regional economy. The new trains will be operated and maintained by the North Western Railway (NWR) zone.

Rajasthan New Trains List

These three new trains will significantly improve connectivity between Rajasthan and other northern states. These three trains are: Bikaner to Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express, Jodhpur to Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express and Udaipur City to Chandigarh Express.

Bikaner to Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, Train No. 04751, the inaugural Vande Bharat Express special between Bikaner and Delhi Cantt, will depart from Bikaner at 14:30 and arrive at Delhi Cantt at 21:05. This inaugural special train will have scheduled stops at Shri Dungargarh, Ratanagadh, Churu, Sadulpur, Loharu, Mahendragarh, and Gurgaon stations. This inaugural special train will consist of 7 air-conditioned chair car coaches and 1 executive air-conditioned chair car coach.

The regular train, No. 26471/22472, the Bikaner-Delhi Cantt-Bikaner Vande Bharat Express, will operate 6 days a week (except Wednesdays) from Bikaner to Delhi Cantt and vice versa, starting from September 28, 2025.

Jodhpur to Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express

On Thursday, September 25, train number 04861, the inaugural special Vande Bharat Express from Jodhpur to Delhi Cantt., will depart from Jodhpur at 14:30, arrive at Jaipur station at 19:05, depart Jaipur at 19:10, and reach Delhi Cantt. at 23:10. This inaugural special train will have halts at Medwa Road, Degana, Makrana, Phulera, Jaipur, Alwar, Rewari, and Gurgaon stations. This inaugural special train will consist of 7 AC Chair Car coaches and 1 Executive Chair Car coach.

The regular train, train number 26481/26482, the Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt.-Jodhpur Vande Bharat Express, will operate 6 days a week (except Tuesdays) from Jodhpur to Delhi Cantt. starting September 27, and from Delhi Cantt. to Jodhpur also starting September 27.

Udaipur City to Chandigarh Express

On September 25, 2025, train number 09671, the Udaipur City-Chandigarh Inaugural Special, will depart from Udaipur City at 14:30, arrive at Jaipur station at 21:25, depart from Jaipur at 21:35, and reach Chandigarh at 08:15 the following day. Similarly, train number 09672, the Chandigarh-Udaipur City Inaugural Special, will depart from Chandigarh on September 26, 2025, at 11:20, arrive at Jaipur station at 21:15, depart from Jaipur at 21:25, and reach Udaipur City at 05:25 the following day. This train will have halts at Ranapratapnagar, Mavli, Kapasan, Chandariya, Bhilwara, Bijainagar, Ajmer, Kishanganj, Phulera, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Rajgarh, Alwar, Rewari, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Jind, Narwana, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, and Ambala Cantt stations.

This inaugural special train will consist of 2 Second AC coaches, 6 Third AC coaches, 2 Third AC Economy coaches, 6 Second Sleeper coaches, 4 General Class coaches, 1 Power Car, and 1 Guard’s van, totaling 22 coaches.

The regular train, train number 20989/20990, the Udaipur City-Chandigarh-Udaipur City Bi-weekly Superfast Express, will commence its operations from Udaipur City to Chandigarh from September 27, 2025, and from Chandigarh to Udaipur City from September 28, 2025.
