Odisha to Gujarat Amrit Bharat train launch:Indian Railways (IR) is set to introduce a new Amrit Bharat Express train connecting Odisha and Gujarat. The train will run between Brahmapur in Odisha and Udhna near Surat in Gujarat. This service will not only strengthen connectivity between the two states but also provide passengers with a more comfortable travel experience. The Amrit Bharat Express train is meant for low-income families.
The Brahmapur to Udhna (Surat) Amrit Bharat Express train will provide affordable service and high quality travel experience for middle-class and poor families. The exact date and time of the launch of the new-age train have not yet been announced, but it is expected to be introduced soon.
Brahmapur to Udhna (Surat) Amrit Bharat train: Route, Stoppages
During its journey between Brahmapur and Udhna (Surat), this new Amrit Bharat Express train will stop at 12 stations. These are: Palasa, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titlagarh, Raipur, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Bhuzaval, Jalgaon, and Nandurbar.
Presently, a total of 11 Amrit Bharat Express trains are running across the country. These are: Darbhanga-Anand Vihar Terminal, Malda Town-SMVT Bengaluru, Mumbai LTT-Saharsa, Rajendra Nagar Terminal-New Delhi, Darbhanga-Gomti Nagar, Malda Town-Gomti Nagar, Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Terminal, Sitamarhi-Delhi, Erode-Jogbani, and Saharsa-Chheharta (Amritsar).
Amrit Bharat train production
The national transporter has geared up to manufacture Amrit Bharat 3.0 trains. This will be developed by Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory (ICF). These new trainsets will feature a combination of Air-Conditioned (AC) and Non-Air-Conditioned (Non-AC) coaches.
