The ban includes VIP darshan that is priority entry, shorter queues and waiting duration for pre-booked tickets and sparsh darshan, that includes touching the shivalinga.
As per the official website, shrikashivishwanath.org, ticket price for ‘Sugam Darshan’ is Rs 300. It ensures a assisted entry to the sanctum of the temple with a guide with minimal queueing.
It has been designed for devotees with time constraint or those who cannot afford to wait long in queues. In this process a Shastri accompanies the devotee for darshan directly without a queue.
Charges vary depending on the number of priests and type of ceremony.
Other rituals include Sanyasi Bhojan (Meal offerings), Milk Abhishek (offering milk to the Shiva Linga), and Akhand deep & Satyanarayan Katha.
The temple trust also offers guesthouse bookings in the vicinity of the temple with prices starting from Rs 800 per night. It includes two guest houses: Southern Grand Guest House and Ganga Darshan Guest House. These can be booked via the official trust links on the temple site.
