Mumbai police get call about ‘attack on Ram Temple’

The caller, who identified himself as Soham Pandey, said that his friend Nandkishore Singh, who is an RPF staff, while traveling by train from Agra to Mumbai, learnt that Qureshi had plans to attack the Ram temple. Qureshi is a resident of Adpatpur, Agra.

Mumbai Police control room on Saturday midnight received a call from a person, who told the police that an Agra resident named Sohail Qureshi was going to attack the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The caller, who identified himself as Soham Pandey, said that his friend Nandkishore Singh, who is an RPF staff, while traveling by train from Agra to Mumbai, learnt that Qureshi had plans to attack the Ram temple. Qureshi is a resident of Adpatpur, Agra.

Apart from this, the caller also shared the mobile numbers of Qureshi and Singh.

Police followed SOP and informed the security agencies concerned and their counterparts in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said.
