PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the three-day All-India Conference of Director Generals/Inspector Generals of Police in Bhubaneswar from November 28-30 where cyber frauds, challenges posed by AI tools such as ChatGPT, latest threats of drone and counterterrorism are among the issues to be discussed.
According to a source, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and NSA Ajit Doval will attend all the sessions. “They will discuss a wide-range of policing and internal security issues including cyber crime, technology in policing, counterterrorism challenges, LWE, and prison reforms, among others,” the source said.
“As per tentative agenda, discussions will be held on counterterrorism, emerging trends in militancy and hybrid militancy in J&K, Khalistan communication and logistics network, role of virtual assets, dark web in terror financing, drug trafficking, and the role of cryptocurrency in counterterrorism,” the source said.
“… Chinese influence in the neighbourhood and its implications for India, growing radicalisation, instability in neighbourhood and its implications for India will be discussed,” the source said.
