Amid controversy over Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh’s sexist remark against party MP Meenakshi Natarajan,Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma today said undignified language should not be used in public.

Asked about Singh’s remark describing party MP Meenakshi Natarajan as “100 per cent tunch maal” at a public meeting in Madhya Pradesh,Verma said “I do not favour use of undignified language in public life.” On BJP leader L K Advani’s statement that his party would record breaking results in Lok Sabha elections, the Union Steel Minister said BJP leaders “change their tune” with time.

“Advani, who resigned from all party post following elevation of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the chairman of central election committee, was now saying the party would win with record votes,” Verma said. He said the BJP would lose by record votes.
