Mumbai blast: Suspected IM member remanded to judicial custody

Tailor is alleged to be member of IM and SIMI and is sought to be involved in 13/7 Mumbai blast.

A court on Monday remanded Asrar Ahmed Abdul Hamid Tailor,a computer trainer and an alleged member of Indian Mujahideen (IM) and Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI),to judicial custody till October 14 in connection with the Mumbai blasts in July this year.

Tailor and his associate Haroon Rashid Abdul Hamid Naik have been questioned about their suspected involvement in the July 13 blasts.

Tailor was arrested on September 12. Earlier,Haroon was remanded to judicial custody till October 14 by the court.
