Agitating Gujjars,on Friday night held talks with a three-member ministerial panel formed by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Ghelot to hold talks with the protesters,who disrupted rail-road traffic for the fifth day on Friday demanding five per cent reservation in government jobs. A delegation of around a dozen Gujjars held talks with State Home Minister Shanti Dhariwal,Transport Minister BK Sharma and Energy Minister Jitendra Singh,who are members of the committee,officials said. It was,however,not disclosed where the meeting took place and what was the result but said that negotiations with Gujjars were on. Meanwhile,Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reviewed the situation and appealed Gujjars to call off the stir. Earlier on Friday,Dhariwal said one per cent reservation for Gujjars in educational institutions and state services' recruitment would continue to be in effect and asked the community to call-off the agitation.
