BJP president Nitin Gadkari today demanded constitution of a Joint Parliamentary Committee to probe into the alleged corruption during the run-up to the the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
“It will be better if a JPC is constituted to go into the murky deals relating to organising the Games,” Gadkari, who was campaigning for the BJP in Bihar Assembly elections, told reporters.
He alleged that corruption would not have taken without a “nexus” between PMO and the officials of the seven departments, which were involved in organising the Games this month.
“It has become necessary to expose the nexus between the partners in the CWG loot and those providing them political patronage,” Gadkari added.
