Indian Railways Round Trip Ticket: Under the Indian Railways’ Round Trip Package scheme, the rebates will be applicable when booked for both onward and return journey for the same set of passengers.

Indian Railways Round Trip Scheme: With effect from August 14, Indian Railways (IR) has commenced train ticket bookings for the Advance Reservation Period (ARP) date of October 13, 2025, under the Round Trip Scheme. The Ministry of Railways is offering a 20 per cent discount on tickets booked both online and offline under the new scheme.
RailOne App Launched
Launched on July 1, 2025, the RailOne app is all-in-one application with a user-friendly interface. The mobile app integrates all the passenger services such as: Unreserved UTS Tickets, Live train tracking, Grievance redressal, E-catering, Porter booking and Last-mile taxi, apart from ticket booking.
Return journey travel dates: 17 Nov – 1 Dec 2025 (for trains originating from source station)
After the completion of Onward Journey booking, users need to click on “Book Return Ticket (20% Discount)” button.
Source – Destination station will be of same-pair similar to Onward Journey ticket. Class of travel and Passenger list should also be same as Onward Journey ticket.
User may select Journey date as per requirement, however users may ensure that Journey Dates are under defined criteria i.e. 17 Nov – 1 Dec 2025 (for trains originating from source station)
User may proceed with Train as per requirement and continue the booking process.
After successful payment, Return Journey ticket will be booked.
