Pune bans cracker stalls on pavements

The Pune Municipal Corporation has decided to ban cracker stalls on roads or pavements and has warned action against those not complying with the rule.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to ban cracker stalls on roads or pavements and has warned action against those not complying with the rule. In a letter to the police department,the PMC has cited Bombay High Court directives of not allowing cracker stalls in public places.
