Pranab on two-day state tour

President Pranab Mukherjee arrives in Maharashtra on a two-day tour Friday. He will preside over a function organised by R K Mission to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the voyage of Swami Vivekananda from Gateway of India to Chicago in the US. Governor K Sankaranarayanan will receive and accompany the president to the function at gateway and later to the Mumbai University convocation hall. Saturday,Mukherjee will attend the 7th convocation of Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (Deemed University) at Girinagar in Pune.
