New Delhi, Jan 26 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee played host to a traditional and annual Republic Day 'At Home' reception for dignitaries and the general public on the lawns of the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday. Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were French President Francois Hollande, Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union Cabinet Ministers. Former prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, BJP veteran Lal Krishna Advani, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung were also among those who turned up for the function. French President Hollande was welcomed by Prime Minister Modi and other Indian dignitaries. The President's Bodyguards escorted President Mukherjee to the dais following which the national anthem was played. Thereafter, he mingled with President Hollande, the chief guest for the Republic Day parade, and others.
New Delhi, Jan 25 (ANI): A ceremonial reception was held at the Forecourt, Rashtrapati Bhavan, for French President Francois Hollande on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Union Minister Prakash Javdekar and MoS Prime Minister office jitendra Singh were among the other present at the ceremony. President Hollande, who will be the chief guest for the Republic Day Parade, is on a three-day visit to India.
