An IED weighing five kilograms,was detected and later defused by the security forces in Sopore.

An IED weighing five kilograms,was detected and later defused by the security forces in Sopore,which has witnessed a sudden spurt in militant violence in the past one month.

The IED was planted by militants beneath Sello bridge,55 kms from here.

The device was detected and later defused by the bomb disposal squad,police said.
