First-time BJP MLAs undergo training

Out of 200 MLAs in Rajasthan assembly, 160 are from BJP.

The state unit of BJP has started a training camp for the first-time MLAs, where they are being taught the policies of the party and issues related to their respective areas. There are a total of 64 MLAs in BJP who have been elected for the first time.

State BJP president Ashok Parnami told The Indian Express that the camp, which started on Monday, would end on September 9. There was a delay in conducting the training camp as the party was caught up with various elections, he said.

Out of 200 MLAs in Rajasthan assembly, 160 are from BJP. Out of these 160, 64 have been elected for the first time. Most of these MLAs are literate and they have no problem in understanding and mastering the policies of the party and working of the assembly.

The training is being imparted by national organizational secretaries V Satish and Soudan Singh and general secretaries Kailash Vijayvargiya and P Muralidhar Rao. Chief minister Vasundhara Raje and state president Ashok Parnami will also provide guidance to the MLAs. The central leadership reportedly got some reports that the firsttime MLAs were losing their hold in their respective areas.
