Mumbai merchant robbed off diamonds worth Rs 28 lakh

A city-based merchant was robbed off diamonds worth Rs 18 lakh by four unidentified men in south Mumbai,police said on Tuesday.

Matsukh Seledia was accosted by the men,who claimed to be CID persons,while he was climbing down the staircase of a building,they said.

The robbers then attacked Seledia with a knife and decamped with diamonds worth Rs 18 lakh along with Rs 1,80,000 cash that he was carrying,they said.
