In Uttar Pradesh, BJP units to felicitate Manohar Parrikar

BJP workers of the party’s Lucknow Mahanagar and Agra Mahanagar units will felicitate Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar Thursday for the recent surgical strikes carried out by the Army in PoK. During the Agra event, Parrikar will also address a gathering of party workers and locals at the GIC ground in the city Thursday.

In Lucknow, he will be felicitated by BJP workers and local residents during an event at a school campus Thursday itself.

BJP workers in Agra Tuesday ran a door-to-door campaign urging people to attend the event. “People are excited after the surgical strikes. Owing to public demand and the excitement of workers, we have invited Defence Minister for the felicitation,” said a BJP leader in Agra
